Great roast dinner, fantastic warm and friendly service at the bar and table, couldn't ask for much more from a country pub.

Great value food and lovely beer garden to relax in. The service was good, helpful staff. Vegetarian options: The halloumi burger was good, although could have done with a bit more moisture. The vegan jackfruit burger was tasty, but needed a little extra filling to make it a satisfying meal.

Nice little old pub. Very dog friendly. Roast lunch, beef was a bit tough. This is a Greene King pub but it is not part of the AA discount scheme like the Green Man at Lavendon. However, the prices are lower so it works out about the same. I have also been to their pub garden which is lovely. Staff friendly and there is parking around the back.

Good homely pub, welcome atmosphere. Garden out the back next to the parking. Beautiful views. Dogs allowed inside and outside. Good menu, reasonably priced and fast service. I cannot fault this pub at all, one to visit !! Easily found on the main road.

A pretty traditional old village pub situated in Odell by the river Ouse. There is a lovely beer garden at the back with views over the river and car parking. Friendly and helpful staff who were happy to take the walking group orders on the day. They do a fish of the day dish but check beforehand, because on this occasion the trawler hadn’t landed. For beer drinkers they serve 5 Real Ales, 2 are permanent ‘Greene King IPA’ and ‘Abbot Ale’, with 3 rotating guest ales. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome here and it’s a delightful spot to set of for a variety of country walks.

Called into The Bell pub party the way round our winter walk from the car park at Harrold country park. This is a traditional village pub with lots of history & character & is very accomadating to walkers. My wife & I had a drink each & shared brie & baggett with a potion of chips, (scrumptious). See picture.

Disappointing sunday lunch. This place used to be excellent. The plates were cold, food luke warm when it arrived. Vegetables very poor quality, carrots tasted watery as if frozen. Vege dish swimming in water (see photo). Potatoes glassy. Puddings mediocre, overly sweet. Lamb shank was good but accompanied by poor sides and service overshadowed it. Service slow and unfriendly. Expensive for what we got. Apparently they have a new chef. Felt like the place was being run by teenagers in need of adult supervision. Such a shame.
